South Mountain

South Mountain Park and Preserve covers more than 16,000 acres in Phoenix, with 58 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. A 5.5-mile Summit Road climbs from the main entrance at 10409 S. Central Ave. to Dobbins Lookout, which sits at 2,330 feet.
